DCU for Kids is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable foundation founded in 2005 by DCU - better known as Digital Federal Credit Union. To date, DCU for Kids has made charitable donations that total more than $29.8 million. Some of the organizations that we support include Autism Speaks, Special Olympics, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Rise Above, Boston Children’s Hospital, Boys & Girls Clubs, Jumpstart for Children, Inc. and many others.
By funding support services, enrichment, and development activities, mentoring and education programs, medical research, and by providing scholarships, DCU for Kids is making a positive and lasting impact on thousands of children throughout DCU branch communities and beyond.
DCU for Kids net fundraising revenue is at 98%, all of which goes directly to children in need. All administrative and volunteer support is donated by DCU.
“It is because of amazing support and dedication of organizations like yours that BBBSMB is one of the nation’s leading youth mentoring organizations. DCU for Kid’s gift will enable our organization to make enormous differences in the lives of deserving children. Our mentoring programs produce proven outcomes for kids, including lower rates of risk behavior and improved performance in school. The children we serve develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in school and fulfill their true potential.”

“We are grateful for DCU for Kid’s partnership. Your donation was used to fund the Children’s Services program at HMEA. Because of you, we were able to purchase technology that will help children with autism improve comprehension, self-expression, and skill development.”
